In the past 30 years, Blackwill and Harris argue the U.S. has largely stopped using geoeconomics, preferring military force instead. . . . It’s a particularly critical time to change that approach, they say, as markets become more global and countries are reconsidering which economic tie is more important to them: the U.S. or China? These ideas aren’t Republican or Democrat, the authors argue.
But first,
If you haven’t yet experienced the distinctive neurological effects referred to in that preceding public service link you might want to read and get familiar with what to expect.
It is a recognized component of War By Any Means…
and it’s also part of an ongoing re-consolidation that started long before the 1930’s but that’s where this story will pick it up.

Author Murray N Rothbard
During the 1930s, the Rockefellers pushed hard for war against Japan, which they saw as competing with them vigorously for oil and rubber resources in Southeast Asia and as endangering the Rockefellers’ cherished dreams of a mass “China market” for petroleum products. On the other hand, the Rockefellers took a noninterventionist position in Europe, where they had close financial ties with German firms such as I.G. Farben and Co., and very few close relations with Britain and France.
The Morgans, in contrast, as usual deeply committed to their financial ties with Britain and France, once again plumped early for war with Germany, while their interest in the Far East had become minimal. Indeed, US ambassador to Japan Joseph C. Grew, former Morgan partner, was one of the few officials in the Roosevelt administration genuinely interested in peace with Japan.
World War II might therefore be considered, from one point of view, as a coalition war: the Morgans got their war in Europe, the Rockefellers theirs in Asia…
Despite differences in nuance, it is clear… the “permanent government” continues to rule regardless of the party nominally in power.
That shallow account of the larger, more enlightening peek into the sharp edged troughs of our history many of US have not been exposed to before should help to explain how politicians can say one thing before an election and vote in a contrary manner after they are in office.
It only took a few more decades for the bureaucrat snoop dogs of the political persuasion to start probing the ever expanding boundaries of national security on behalf of their real bosses.

…The Shah’s departure had been expected for weeks. President Carter had extended him a public invitation, and Sunnylands, the huge, well-guarded estate of the publisher Walter H. Annenberg in Rancho Mirage, Calif., had been prepared for the royal family.
But the Shah accepted another invitation – from his closest Middle Eastern ally, Egyptian President Anwar el-Sadat. On Jan. 16, the Shah, his Empress, Farah Diba, and their entourage flew to Egypt, where they rested on an island in the upper Nile for six days. The royal family then moved on to Morocco as guests of King Hassan II, spending three weeks in a luxurious, palm-shaded palace in Marrakesh. The Shah took his family for long drives in the nearby snow-capped Atlas mountains and played tennis. Periodically, the official invitation to come to the United States was renewed, but the Shah had been persuaded by his own advisers and by Sadat that the chances of a return to power would be greater if he remained in the Middle East, where he could follow events in Teheran more closely. In addition, a decision to settle in the United States would have underscored the popular image of him in Iran as an American puppet.
On Feb. 1, the Ayatollah Ruhollah Khomeini enjoyed a triumphant homecoming from his exile in Paris, and he quickly started to lay the groundwork for his revolutionary government. On Feb. 14, a mob led by Marxist guerrillas overran the American Embassy. Nearly 100 Americans were taken hostage, much the way their compatriots would be during the climatic takeover nine months later. But this time, in a move that gave the secular Iranian Government more credibility in Washington than it ultimately deserved, two senior ministers quickly negotiated the release of all the hostages.
In the second week of March, the Shah moved to a palace in Rabat, the Moroccan capital. By that time, the Carter Administration was groping for a decorous way to let him know that the earlier invitation had been withdrawn. In search of an emissary to break the news gently, the State Department contacted two of the Shah’s staunchest supporters: David Rockefeller and Henry Kissinger. David Rockefeller’s personal offices, 56 floors above Rockefeller Center, seem modest enough – until a visitor notices the French Impressionist originals on the walls. In a recent interview, during which Rockefeller frequently consulted typewritten notes to refresh his memory, he said he had received ”legal authorization” from the Shah’s family to discuss, for the first time in any detail, his relationship and that of his bank with the Pahlevi family.
”I got a call on March 14, 1979,” Rockefeller said, ”from David Newsom (Carter’s Undersecretary of State for Political Affairs). Newsom said they had intelligence reports from Iran which suggested that, if the Shah were admitted to the United States, the American Embassy would be taken and it would be a threat to American lives. Therefore, the President wanted me to go and tell the Shah that it was not convenient for him to come to the United States at this time.
”I said I thought it was a mistake, that (the Shah) was a great friend of the United States and was seeking asylum and that it was in the American tradition to admit anybody under those circumstances, most particularly a friend. So I refused to do it.”
Some backstory.
Mohammad Mosaddeq became prime minister of Iran in April 1951. An ardent nationalist, he rose to power by challenging Great Britain’s dominance of Iran’s economy and politics. A month before becoming prime minister, Mosaddeq led the effort by the Iranian Majlis (parliament) to nationalize the Anglo-Iranian Oil Company (AIOC), which the British government controlled…

Since his early years on the throne, Mohammad Reza Shah had believed, and so stated, that the following five elements were a part of the fundamental rights of the Iranian people: Food, clothing, housing, education, and healthcare. However, the first 12 years of his reign were consumed by efforts to defend and maintain Iran’s independence and territorial integrity, including forcing the Soviet Union to vacate Iran’s soil, liberate Azerbaijan from the hands of a Soviet puppet regime, stand up to the ever-increasing power of the Tudeh Party, and secure Iran’s rights over its oil resources in the country’s southern regions.

Part II
Being aware of the accusations of financial transactions between Israeli politicians and Hamas for more than a https://bucksafa11.org/2014/03/12/hamas-c-a-i-r-connection/ decade now, I thought it’s time to measure the facts and question the denials of the ‘won’t die’ story about Israeli politicians and Hamas being partnered up since the https://home.treasury.gov/news/press-releases/sb0647 Treasury Department kicked open a can of reminders and with the Noahide laws taking center stage in a small theater I’m wondering when the next higher coven will emerge.
To refresh readers memory’s in this modern high speed news cycle…

Today’s action aligns with a broad, multi-jurisdictional operation led by the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) to dismantle several Hamas fundraising ventures, including those active inside the United States. As part of a coordinated, whole-of-government approach which includes local law enforcement partners such as the New York Police Department, OFAC continues to work closely with the FBI to expose and disrupt Hamas’s continued exploitation of the charitable sector to finance terrorism and to dismantle key nodes of Hamas’s clandestine financial infrastructure. Treasury will continue to sustain pressure on Hamas’s global network of financial facilitators, operatives, and sham charities that support its terrorist activities.
US federal investigators have charged two brothers in Louisiana with fundraising for Hamas, according to court filings unsealed on Tuesday, in the latest in a series of cases alleging financial support for the terrorist group in the US.
Abdel Adhami and Omar Adhami were charged with providing material support to a terrorist organization in a federal Louisiana court.
Court filings said Abdel Adhami coordinated Hamas fundraising with an individual named Saleem Alzaq. The FBI said it believed Alzaq is based in Gaza and had posted Hamas propaganda on social media since at least 2021…
…A Hamas fundraising case filed in the US last week said that “bread” had been used as a codeword for Hamas…
…Adhami used PayPal to send more than $83,000 abroad to three recipients. The locations of two of the recipients were redacted, while the third was in Gaza. His brother allegedly sent more than $6,000 to Alzaq and his associates….
Alzaq also contacted an NYPD undercover agent in November 2025 to ask for donations to Gaza. Alzaq told the agent that he had “friends” in New York, Ohio and “all over the United States.”
He suggested that the agent send funds to other associates in the US, and that the money be transferred “from account to account,” apparently to obscure its provenance, before it was sent to Gaza via PayPal.
“Let me see my friends in New York, and they are all from Palestine,” Alzaq said. “They are American, all of them. They are young people and they send me all the time. They never fall short with us, they fund us.”
The case appeared related to an investigation announced in Florida last month, which charged Raed Yousef, 56, with funneling tens of thousands of dollars to Hamas, misleading US authorities and committing financial crimes…
During a search of Yousef’s home, investigators found written material about the Holy Land Foundation.
Muslim Brotherhood love some Holy Land Foundation and that story goes back to the Obama administration.
The point of all that is it appears we’re not supposed to be surprised when stories showing the soft underbelly of our protection and their allies are presented in such embarrassing circumstances; or are we supposed to consider those events an unusual peccadillo?
How long has Israel been operating in Gaza and their vaunted intel hadn’t picked up on Saleem Alzaq’s Hamas role? You sure there isn’t some additional extensive cooperation going on between Hamas and Israeli government officials?
This story goes back to 2002

Israel and Hamas may currently be locked in deadly combat, but, according to several current and former U.S. intelligence officials, beginning in the late 1970s, Tel Aviv gave direct and indirect financial aid to Hamas over a period of years.
Israel “aided Hamas directly — the Israelis wanted to use it as a counterbalance to the PLO (Palestinian Liberation Organization),” said Tony Cordesman, Middle East analyst for the Center for Strategic Studies.
From https://www.nationalheraldindia.com/opinion/israel-conflict-when-the-monster-turns-on-its-creator
On 24 February 2001, UPI correspondent Richard Sale had claimed that Tel Aviv “gave direct and indirect financial aid to Hamas over a period of years” in the late 1970s. He quoted Tony Cordesman, Middle East analyst for the Center for Strategic & International
Studies, that Israel “aided Hamas directly — the Israelis wanted to use it as a counterbalance to the PLO”.
This was confirmed on 1 January 2009 by Daniel Barenboim, famous Israeli pianist and conductor, who wrote an article ‘The Illusion of Victory’ in The Guardian: “We must not forget that before Hamas was elected by the Palestinians, it was encouraged by Israel as a tactic to weaken Yasser Arafat. Israel’s recent history leads me to believe that if Hamas is bombed out of existence, another group will most certainly take its place, that would be more radical, more violent and more full of hatred towards Israel.”
On 9 October, 2023, The Times of Israel reported that “Hamas conducted a years-long campaign to fool Israel into thinking the group did not desire armed conflict and could be placated with economic incentives to maintain relative calm”.
However, this did not start recently. I had written in 2009, quoting the late Ami Isseroff, known as the ‘Socialist Zionist’, that successive Israeli governments had unknowingly promoted these fundamentalists, who later became Hamas. There was evidence that the Menachem Begin government had “approved” Sheik Ahmad Yasin’s application in 1973 to recognise his organisation ‘al-Mujama’, even when it was known that it was an offshoot of the Muslim Brotherhood. Yasin was heading its Gaza chapter.
In fact, Begin and his successor Yitzhak Shamir created “village leagues” who were thought to be helpful to check the secular and leftist PLO of Yassar Arafat. They allowed Yasin to publish a newspaper, collect funds not only from Israelis but also from orthodox Islamic regimes, and helped convert the Islamic University of Gaza (IUG) as their base. IUG flourished as the only higher education facility on the Gaza strip with official Israeli help and due to Anwar Sadat’s ban on Palestinian students seeking admission in Egyptian colleges…
…Former Shin Beth (internal intelligence) chief Ami Ayalon, speaking to French newspaper Le Figaro recently, blamed politicians for not listening to security chiefs to realise “the great division of the country around the crisis caused by the justice reform”. Significantly, he also added: “The Israeli government has gone out of its way to ensure that Fatah and the Palestinian Authority are no longer partners, giving power to Hamas”. By boycotting the legitimate Palestinian government in the West Bank, “we have tolerated the unacceptable, allowing Hamas to arm themselves on our doorstep since 2006”…
