CAIR’s under the radar involvement with the protests in Ferguson, MO was not missed entirely by the news media. Fox News took note of their presence.
However, since the presence of a Muslim contingent involved with the protests was ignored by most of the press and little information about CAIR was provided, I thought another PSA would be helpful.
CAIR, as you probably know by now, was found by a federal court to be a willing, but unindicted co-conspirator in the money laundering operation linked to Hamas known as the Holy Land Foundation. But CAIR is much more than that. Thankfully, Discover the Networks has done all the hard work. Their extensive investigation has uncovered a web of CAIR statements, actions, accomplices and U.S official’s acknowledgements that establish CAIR’s true jihadist intent and their long involvement in jihadist efforts.
A few examples:
…Al-Hanooti is an ethnic Palestinian who, according to a 2001 FBI report, “collected over $6 million for support of Hamas” and attended, along with CAIR and Holy Land Foundation officials, the previously cited Hamas fundraising summit in Philadelphia in 1993. Currently a prayer leader at a Washington-area mosque that aided some of the 9/11 hijackers, he is a relative of Shiek Mohammed al-Hanooti, an unindicted co-conspirator in the 1993 World Trade Center bombing. Muthanna al-Hanooti formerly helped run an organization called LIFE for Relief and Development, a suspected Hamas terror front whose Michigan offices were raided by the FBI in September 2006, and whose Baghdad office was raided by U.S. troops in 2004…
…CAIR promotes a radical Islamic vision, as evidenced by the fact that its co-founder Omar Ahmad told a Fremont, California audience in July 1998: “Islam isn’t in America to be equal to any other faith, but to become dominant. The Koran … should be the highest authority in America, and Islam the only accepted religion on Earth.”…
…In 1998, CAIR co-hosted a rally at Brooklyn College where Islamic militants exhorted the attendees to carry out “jihad” and described Jews as “pigs and monkeys.”…
On September 17, 2003, U.S. Senator Charles Schumer stated that CAIR co-founders Nihad Awad and Omar Ahmad have “intimate links with Hamas.” He later remarked that “we know [CAIR] has ties to terrorism.”
…In the summer 2007 Holy Land Foundation trial, it was learned that CAIR’s parent organization, the Islamic Association for Palestine, had been named in a May 1991 Muslim Brotherhood memorandum as one of the Brotherhood’s likeminded “organizations of our friends” who shared the common goal of conducting “a kind of grand Jihad in eliminating and destroying the Western civilization from within and ‘sabotaging’ its miserable house by their hands … so that … God’s religion [Islam] is made victorious over all other religions.”…
More recently, the Center for Security Policy highlighted a demonstration in downtown Miami, FL. co-hosted by CAIR where participants declared their allegiance to Hamas and Jihad.
One more thing. CAIR likes to project the idea they work to protect American Muslim interests yet it was noted in 2007 their membership dropped precipitously and their funding was coming from wealthy donors as FrontPageMagazine.com published in 2007:
…at the very moment that their representation amongst their own constituency is plummeting, CAIR’s stock among political and the media establishment continues to climb. If Wall Street rules applied to K Street, someone would be in jail for inflating their stock…
Two years later, Family Security Matters using information gleaned from the book “Muslim Mafia: Inside the Secret Underworld that’s Conspiring to Islamize America” written by P. David Gaubatz and Paul Sperry reported:
Muslim Mafia claims that CAIR relies on two dozen wealthy supporters, many of them from Persian Gulf countries including Saudi Arabia, Qatar and the United Arab Emirates, for 60 percent of its $2.7 million annual operating budget, including one donor who contributes $600,000 a year.

If that is the case then CAIR, based on last weeks news about the UAE putting them on a terrorist list, is now in a financial bind.
Then again, maybe not. According to Discover the Networks, amongst CAIR’s donors is the Tides Foundation, the Community Foundation for Greater Atlanta, the New York Foundation, one Saudi Prince and who knows how many other lords a leaping.
That information should lead the intellectually curious to at least a couple of questions. Like, who is CAIR really representing when they testify against and frequently beat back the implementation of the American Laws for American Courts bills being introduced into various State Assemblies and Legislatures?
Let’s see. It’s a democracy, right? Everybody loves the democracy thing so we’ll call the Republic a democracy. In a democracy the elected representatives, if they are not responding to mob violence which is the purest form of democracy, they base their decision to support, or not, an issue on the number of voters in their District who are for or against that issue. Pure numbers being the second purest form of democracy, right?
Along comes this political organization, CAIR, that opposes free will, pulled pork and beer. And they have this mysterious source of cash that enables them to make political friends and influence people way beyond the natural boundaries of their shifting sand environment.
So I’m curious and went to CAIR’s website and accessed the CAIR-PA 2013 Annual Report. There, I learned CAIR-PA lists $3000.00 as membership income. Now, even if they only charge One American Dollar for membership, it means at the most they only have three thousand members, right? And this, remember, is a democracy. Numbers rule.
This is a version of the American Laws for American Courts bill that has already been adopted by other States.
See anything that scares you? How about anything that might scare a jihadist? A jihadists lackey? You’re darn right. Why wouldn’t you want that on the books?
ALAC could have happened in Pennsylvania two years ago. Alas, it died quietly in a committee.
The good news is, it can be re-introduced and even passed if there were enough citizens willing to get as interested in its success as CAIR is interested in its suppression.
You can stop the Islamization of America by contacting your State Representative and insisting (s)he support ALAC as you do. Then encourage others to do the same.
If it isn’t as simple as that, wouldn’t you like to know?
Here’s an eleven minute peek behind the curtain of Progressive Islam
